One of the most useful features of the original Windows version of Password
Safe is it's quick keyboard search. If the app has focus, all you need to do
is start typing and it'll start matching entries with titles that begin with
that key sequence. E.g. if I have passwords for facebook, games, and gmail,
all I need to type is f for facebook, or gm for gmail. It makes using Password
Safe super fast and keyboard centric.
I tried this in the java version (even clicked in the main window to get the
cursor focus in it), and it didn't seem to work (OSX 10.6.8). Would love to
see this working.
Thanks!

I second this. Desired feature.
Even just a search menu item would be welcomed!
+1. Search is really needed.
+1 for search form me too
Your request was heard, there is now a search function: check out the pre release 0.8.1 in
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jpwsafe/files/jpwsafe/SWT-0.8.1-prerelease/
(or newer).
I admit though, it is (yet) the keyboard centric version, that will be for the future.
Cheers,
David
