It would be very handy to rename viewed image by hitting F2 (like in windows explorer, like in FS MaxView too).

    I would love to see this as well...

    also, I have read a post concerning a previous version that rename was missing from the processing panel. it would appear this bug has resurfaced :(

    Apctually I have this feature now, I think I edited the settings file for this.

    I can see where to make the change (KeyMap.txt I think) but can't find a command definition for renaming.

    Using version 1.0.31.0

    Maybe I'm doing something wrong... I did that once ;) LOL

    This is implemented in the latest version 1.0.32.1, see KeyMap.txt:

    define IDM_RENAME 2610

    You can map this to a keyboard shortcut if you want (e.g. F2, but delete existing mapping for F2 in KeyMap.txt if you do so), by default it is not mapped.

    I close this feature request as it is implemented.

    I also would like to rename with F2, however without depending on the image processing panel, and the filename being selected without the file extension, just like IrfranView does when pressing F2.
