Hi,

I 'm currently testing JOSSO on a local server for a SSO Setup. I planed to use SSO for XWiki and phpBB and selected JOSSO because of the phpBB native support.

The gateway runs on Tomcat 6.0. The sample partnerapps for tomcat and php are working correctly.

So I tried to jossfy phpBB 3.0.9 (current stable release) with the josso gsh console. Every step of the configuration is successful except the configuration of the "includes/functions.php" file.
My Error output:
Configure [/includes/functions.php] [ERROR] Failed to patch file: /home/share/base/tmp/phpBB3/includes/functions.php. Must be done manually.

So long, I had a look at the patch.file to try the manual patching. But sadly the line range of the hunks seems to be a little bit odd to me. I identified some contexts but some contexts are not unique without line ranges.

My second approach was, to test the configuration by josso-gsh with pbpBB 3.0.5 (named here), but i'd get the same error during the configuration like above.

Long story short: I need a hint how to interpret the custom patch-file of JOSSO, a standard patch-file for "includes/functions.php", or the original and patched "includes/functions.php" files to make my transitions by hand.

I hope someone can help me out.

Greetings

Jan

The last days I've had the time to dive deeper into the problem.

I tried to fire the josso agent install process on serval phpBB versions, the phpBB3.0.7 was the right one.

I created a unix unified diff/patch for the patched phpBB3.0.7

Next step will be the transition to phpBB3.0.9
