#333 memory error with line of hyphens

Hi,

I get a memory error when I try to write a line of hyphens in joe.

The error is:

Error in joe': free(): invalid next size (fast): 0x0000000000747550 *** *** Error injoe': malloc(): memory corruption: 0x00000000007475b0

This is reproducible by:

Opening joe
Holding down the hyphen (-) key.
Error occurs when it reaches column 88.

I believe this is a duplicate of [#269] and was fixed in 3.8/4.0.
