Thanks. I don't know why I haven't initially made a pull request. Had some unexpected free time: looks very nice! Two small issues: the brand link in the navbar still goes to http://jflex.de <http://jflex.de/>. That made sense when it was always labeled `jflex.de <http://jflex.de/>`, but now it’s the title of the page, so we should link to the top of the current page instead. Related to that, the #top anchor seems to have disappeared. It’s used in the page footer to navigate up again (mostly only useful on mobiles and small screens). Cheers, Gerwin > On 15 Apr 2015, at 9:49 am, Gerwin Klein <kl...@cs...> wrote: > > Sounds cool. Hello Gerwin and others, I tried to give a touch of material design to jflex.de. That's mainly the use of headers for now (self implement with jquery, there is no new dependency) I also chose new colors from the palette <http://www.google.ch/design/spec/style/color.html#color-color-palette>: indogo and orange. The patch is in branch "material" (oops, the same branch also fixes some issues with the titles). -- Régis PJ: Screenshot top of page, after a scroll |

Cool. I think it's a good think this code is safe, and doesn't disappear when Google code closes. :-) The repo is now fully imported to github.com/jflex-de<http://github.com/jflex-de>, Max and Alexey were happy to have it moved over and I’ve invited them to that repo team so they still have direct push access to it. Might still be nice to modernise it in any case, if Grammar-Kit is on a fork of JFlex. I still have a lot of core jflex todo’s and will concentrate on those first, but might poke around with the plugin at some point. The JetBrains Grammar-Kit plugin project has JFlex support (though I think IntelliJ uses a JFlex 1.4-based fork), and appears to be maintained, so may be a source of information about how to modernize the idea-jflex plugin: https://github.com/JetBrains/Grammar-Kit Steve > On Apr 8, 2015, at 8:38 AM, Gerwin Klein <ger...@ni...> wrote: > > I tested out the import, worked really nicely. Looks like all issues for version 1.6.1 are closed. Anything else that we should do before we release? I still need to update the release scripts for git, but I think that’s it. Much more fun developing on github ;-) Will be travelling this week, but might be able to squeeze it in. Otherwise, next weekend. There isn’t really a defined coding style so far, but I've been using spaces (no tabs), default indent 2 spaces. Happy to change the default indent; I do like to avoid tabs just to avoid having to reconfigure every new editor. It’s a good idea to document it and maybe even check it automatically in the regression test. Hello all, Gerwin, I'm wondering if you have defined a code style somewhere. I'm very open to anything but I'd like to remove inconsistencies in indentation (space vs tab ; 2 vs 4). If not, I might start a wiki page describing what's the most common. -- Régis |

I have not been contributing for a while, but I think this is a good move. Thanks. The issue tracker in github is simpler and more efficient, I find. Repository now https://github.com/jflex-de/jflex/ All new commits should go there. You should all have received an invitation to join jflex-team on the jflex-de organisation. The “bugs” and “feature request” trackers are moved over as well (still need to update and import the web site). I haven’t split up the repository after all. It is probably nicer to have atomic commits over the entire project instead of independently developing modules. If we feel otherwise later, we can still split it then. The more I use Github for other projects the cruftier and overloaded SF feels when I have time to look at JFlex issues. Would anyone be opposed if we moved development from SF to Github? I think it would make it easier to accept contributions (pull requests, code comments, etc), and generally make development more pleasant. This would imply a move from svn to git for version control. Git is slightly more complex, but a lot more flexible and powerful. It looks like I can (mostly) automatically move issue tracker, wiki, and source history to Github. I’d propose to split the svn repo into multiple repositories under the http://github.com/jflex-de organisation. Something like: jflex-de/jflex jflex-de/jflex-maven-plugin jflex-de/jflex-unicode-maven-plugin jflex-de/testsuite jflex-de/jflex-website There might be an argument for pulling jflex-de/testsuite into jflex-de/jflex for easy consistency between regression tests and source. The main reason it is not under jflex in svn is that some of these test cases seemed fairly large back in the day. Gerwin, There are a couple issues I want to address before 1.6.1. I’ll work on them this weekend. Hopefully should be ready in less than a week. Happy New Year ;-) Gerwin Begin forwarded message: To: "[jflex:bugs] " <12...@bu...<mailto:12...@bu...>> From: titi4u <ti...@us...<mailto:ti...@us...>> Reply-To: "[jflex:bugs] " <12...@bu...<mailto:12...@bu...>> Subject: [jflex:bugs] #129 %caseless does not work in jflex 1.6.0 ?
