Thanks for replying Chris... unfortunately your initial suggestions didn't
bear any fruit.

The environment in question-
Windows XP (all available service crap applied)
512MB RAM
Sun JDK 1.4.2_02
Jetty 4.2.14

Ok, I've included the output from bootup and a single request for
index.jsp. Note that until the request is made, everything boots fine.
Also, this exact file was copied to another windows machine (win2k) and
it works fine.

I have a bad feeling the issue is some minor misconfiguration, but I'm
having heaps of trouble with it...

Any furthur suggestions welcomed :)
