Hello List, I am interested in tracking in a very detailed manner all of the 500 errors that originate from jetty or any app running on jetty. I have looked at but not implemented a custom error handler as I don't know to hook it up for the errors I am interested in. Ideally I would like code/configuration, code being preferable that would allow for the same information returned on the web page to also be written to a detailed log file, one file per 500 error full copy of the http headers (and the post) full stack trace from the server If I set the server to debug with System.setProperty("DEBUG", "true") I do see the headers for the offending GET request. But I do not see the full stack trace on the console. If someone knows where to start, I would greatly appreciate a pointer. It looks to me like the error handling system is page oriented. The page that jetty currently builds is fine. I would just like access to the same contets w/o having to implement my own page that renders both the html and dispatches the error to the desired location. Eventually I see this turning into a realtime monitoring system, instead of writing the file to disk, the server would send an alert over the network. Sean |
