[Jetty-support] Jetty not using Hosts file

Hi,

I seem to have an issue with the Jetty server NOT looking in my (Win XP)
hosts  file to resolve domain names. What this means is that I have to
specify the IP address of my target server BUT we implement a reverse DNS
lookup at my organisation (so the IP address will try to be converted back
to a domain name). What this means is that each request will succeed, but
there will be a delay of about 30 seconds while the reverse lookup is
attempted.

Does anybody know why Jetty doe's not use my hosts file (when other servers
I have running do)
