Good day. Twice in the last several months, I have noticed what appears to be the spontaneous vanishing of my servlet's unjar'd war file from /tmp. When Jetty6 starts, I see it print to the console Extract jar:file:/foo/jetty-6.1.3/webapps/TheApp.war!/ to /tmp/Jetty_0_0_0_0_1021_[long hashed path] where I have sanitized the webapp name and unjar'd path. But now, when I go to list the unjar'd war file in /tmp, I find it has vanished, yet the container is still running. And my servlet is still functioning more or less correctly, as the classes it needs are probably all loaded into memory. The host on which this servlet runs hosts a second Jetty6 container, which I mention for no other reason than completeness. That second container's only webapp still has its unjar'd war file in /tmp - for now. Could Jetty6 be removing the unjar'd war file prematurely? I am running Jetty 6.1.3. Thanks. -- Mark |
