On my OS X laptop, Fn-Delete maps to this accelerator ...
This seems like a Java bug to me. Do you know what the
equivalent key is on a non-laptop? I suspect this is
Delete vs. Backspace, or something like that.

I don't have a MacOSX desktop available, either. Sorry. You may well be right, even though my Delete keycap doesn't claim that it emits a different event when combined with Fn, like many other keycaps do. I'll see if I can set up a MacOSX desktop.
