Hi

I have stumbled across very weird behavior. After some rules, no more rules get created with the dialogdialog but the last one changed. I am not entirely sure, I do not manipulate wrongly, however, I would not know where. It does seem straight forward enough.

Is there a way to set the rules up without the GUI, some config file? I have seen highlights.ser, but trying to fiddle with it (on computer 2 only!), it did not seem to change anything apart from being quite cryptic.

I have this behaviour on two of my computers.

Computer 1 (Windows, jEdit 5.5, Highlight 2.2 (latest one in the Plugin Manager))

Five rules possible (for now)

Using jEdit 5.5.0 on Tue Sep 20 09:37:44 CEST 2022
Currently running plugins:

Optional 1.0.4 (optional.OptionalPlugin)
Project Viewer 3.6 (projectviewer.ProjectPlugin)
SideKick 1.8 (sidekick.SideKickPlugin)
TaskList 2.6 (tasklist.TaskListPlugin)
WhiteSpace 1.0.2 (whitespace.WhiteSpacePlugin)

Using macro Q:\Progis\jEdit\macros\Misc\Insert_Plugins_List.bsh

Computer 2 (Debian, jEdit 5.5, Highlight 2.2)

Only one rule left, there used to be more about 4.

Hey, do you have some logs in activity log or steps to reproduce ?
