the news section of the main page only lists old versions without linking them or giving info about them. Therefore an entry like "June 22th, 2009 Version 2.5" is useless and only consumes space on small displays. I therefore propose to move the release list to somewhere else and only promote the latest 5 news and link info about them.
Thank you for your suggestions. Most of them are already included in the beta_2.9 branch. We currently have issues with uploading the content to the Web site, therefore this update hasn't gone through yet.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
--- old+++ new@@ -1,4 +1,4 @@- in http://jabref.sourceforge.net/revisionhistory.php version 2.9.1 is missing
- the button "Download latest stable version" links https://sourceforge.net/projects/jabref/files/jabref/2.9 instead of https://sourceforge.net/projects/jabref/files/jabref/2.9.1/
(This is the reason why you get again and again the same bug report like bug [#1127])
