Intended Work on J1699-3 Test:
With India leapfrogging the emission norms, I would like to continue with the J1699-3 test adoption for Bharat Stage – VI for following Areas;
Pass cars & Light Commercial Vehicles: BS-VI Stage1 : ≈ EU-VI(b) without IUPR ; BS-VI Stage 2 : ≈ EU-VI(d) with IUPR & RDE based on ECE R 83 based
Heavy-duty Commercial Vehicles: BS-VI Stage 1 : ≈ EU-VI(b) without IUPR ; BS-VI Stage 2 : ≈ EU-VI(d) with IUPR & RDE based on ECE R 49 based
2 Wheeler : ≈ BS-VI Stage 1 & 2 : ≈ EU-V based on UN GTR 18
3 Wheeler : ≈ BS-VI Stage 1 & 2 : EU-IV based on ECE R 83 for specific GVW
I would later send you the base requirement document specifying the specific changes for all these applications.
I would like to know your views on adding 2 & 3 OBD validation to scope of J1699-3 test!
