I just spend a little while playing with Vivado. The Vivado simulator appears very much like isim (and thus ModelSim), but they do brand it differently (the executables are "xelab", "xvlog" "xsim", etc.). After playing with it for a while, I'm fairly confident that, like isim, it does not support VPI.
