I just submitted the last patch to convert all the routines
over to the string based formatting. I improved the compile
time checking and enhanced some of the error messages. The
only known issue and it is only slightly related is that a
$fclose is supposed to cancel a pending $fstrobe and I'm
guessing that it does not currently do this. I also plan to
enhance the compiletf routines for the timescale tasks and
modify the file routines that need to have a valid file
descriptor/MCD check added.
