Hello iTop team,
I would like to report a cosmetic issue at the Status dropdown from "Mail actions", as I reported it here: https://github.com/Combodo/iTop/pull/268/commits/c4aaabaeea8c9286cb92ec82366c32943e8c3835
I was translating iTop and noticed that my translation wasn't being applied to the "Status" dropdown field at 'Mail actions' page, as can be seen at the screenshot "1.png" attached.
When I edited the lines 524-526 of the translation file (https://github.com/eduardomozart/iTop/edit/develop/dictionaries/pt_br.dictionary.itop.core.php?pr=%2FCombodo%2FiTop%2Fpull%2F362) and removed the "+" sign, it shows the text as expected, as can be seen at the screenshot "2.png" attached.
I figure out that this change would be needed to be applied at all languages, as all language files seems to affected from this glitch as all of them uses the "+" sign.
I believe this glitch wasn't noticed until now because the "Status" dropdown from 'Mail action' uses a common text (as seem at the English translation file) as the same for the "Status" dropdown from other menus, but at least for the Portuguese-Brazil translation, the meaning of the "Status" column has another meaning and the common Status text doesn't reflect it.
The problem seems to be that the mousover texts (values with +) are not appearing in iTop 3 anymore.
@Hipska I don't follow what you are talking about, do you have a screenshot?
When you stay your mouse at the status value, normally a mouseover infobox with this + description would appear, this is not happening in this case.
I've just done the test in a support/2.7 branch clone.
In the details view, the "+" dict key is displayed on mouseover (ActionEmail-status_iTop2.7_details.png)
When editing the object however, the enum values are in a select html element, and no "+" dict key are displayed (ActionEmail-status_iTop2.7_edit.png).
In a support/3.0 clone, I don't get the mouseover in details (ActionEmail-status_iTop3.0_details.png).
Does everyone share this observation ?
@pgoiffon Yes, that's what I'm saying. Do you know quicky which other fields also have such + descriptions for their value so I can check those as well? (I can't imagine this bug would only occur for email status)
Sorry, I don't :/
Must do a query in the dict files to find out...
As there are no more answers seems there is a consensus :)
Created NĀ°5880 about the mouseover not present anymore in the object details screen.
