I wasn't able to update from 3.0.2 to 3.1.0-2 directly. mysqldump did not work as well. Therefore I installed the new version in an separate XAMPP directory. Challenge now is, how to get the old data from 3.0.1 imported or integrated in the new 3.1.0 Version. Is there some copy, paste and update action available? What I miss, is a sort of an easy checklist, as my english need some polish and the help documents seem to be a bit too complex for me.

Anyhow, the database from 3.0.2 would need to be upgraded. Which means you'd have to re-run the setup of your iTop 3.1.0-2; and adjust the database settings (not sure if it's still possible in the setup or if you need to edit config-itop.php).

You could have skipped the mysqldump?
