As soon as there is any way to trigger an action (webhook) from a third party system, you can do so :)
Ideally, you'd be able to define what the data the webhook from your other system posts to iTop. That way, you can leverage the API. Alternatively, just put in place some script which converts the data from the other format into an iTop API data structure.

I am evaluating this product and am using Icinga2 to monitor systems in my environment, and am using the Nagios Plugins to generate alerts.
I have seen that there is integration between Nagios and Itop. Is it possible to leverage this to auto-generate tickets in iTop using Icinga?
