Hi,
we just had a look to that extension and configured the queries and the template.
But we have not been able to add other queries for example to also have incidents.
In addition we have not been able to build something from scratch.
If we use a simple web query we always get a "DataSource.Error" saying that website data could not be fetched.
How can we connect iTop to PowerBI to get our own slides?
Thanks,
best regards, Nico

Hi,
thanks for your reply.
Yes, the queries and reports provided are working without problems.
We can see the real iTop data in that reports.
Of course we use an admin profile for querying iTop-data.
As explained, we are not able to add additional queries e.g. for incidents, or create a complete new PowerBI workspace from scratch since we get an error message that data could not be fetched.

I confirm that Powerbi extension works well.
I would like to ask if it possible to add "Parent organization" colum? because I would like to be able to filter all organizations under this parent organization?
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Can you confim that the queries and the report provides with the extension are ok ?
And do you have your iTop data on PowerBI report ?
If you wand new queries and reports, be carreful, you must be admin profil on iTop to execute the report.
To be sure your report PowerBI could be connect your iTop, you can connect to iTop with your login/password user PowerBI and open the export since the queries iTop.
See the documentation :

All you had to do was create a new query with the right filter in the query phrasebook.
then use this query in Powerbi.
