install and run itop on Ubuntu with codebase

I want to install and run itop developers version to explore , But I am unable to find proper documention and commands related to it. Can anybody please help me with this
I doont want to install it as package

iTop "developers" version?

Are you sure you're talking about iTop by Combodo (helpdesk and ITSM); and not the other iTop product?
