As Jeffrey suggested, this list is probably computed based on the list of final classes existing in your iTop under FunctionalCI, so if you define a new class under FunctionalCI, it will automatically appear in that list.

Sorry I made everything from Jeffrey's page. The monitor selection is also displayed in all lists, just not when I create a new monitor and want to select it under Model as Functional CI (Device Type) It is still missing there in the list as in my photos before.
Sorry that I annoy you so much

Hello, everyone,
how can I expand the list of devices to choose from when creating new brands and modules.
You had to put that in a file.
Greetings Jan
You mean the class type?
Have a look at the monitor example at the iTop wiki.
Hello,
I mean this list (see attachment)
Take a look at https://www.itophub.io/wiki/page?id=latest%3Acustomization%3Aadd-class-sample on how to add a new device type there
sorry,
but I'm probably just a little blind. I can't find anything to expand the list marked in the picture and how.
Please do not be mad

My new device types are displayed in the list in itop. But not in the list for creating a new object of type "model"
Am I missing something?
See the monitor example, it shows you how to add a new CI type to the model -> device type.
I'm either missing something or I'm too stupid...

Hi Jan,
Sorry for this, we made the assumption that it was automatic and based on classes below FunctionalCI, but it is not.
Here is the source code: https://github.com/Combodo/iTop/blob/develop/datamodels/2.x/itop-config-mgmt/datamodel.itop-config-mgmt.xml#L4181
So you need through an iTop extension to add some values to this enum field... (I gave the example of declaring a new state as it is a enum, but just do that part of the tutorial, not the rest )
Regards
Vincent
Hello Vincent,
perfect exactly what i was looking for. I probably expressed something kisunderstood beforehand.
But I still have one question.
Where can I set that the objects marked obsolete are always displayed.
