We currently generate a large portion of our tickets from emails, but when ticket categorization requires additional fields we have not been able to get it to work properly.
Does anyone know how to configure the incoming mailbox so that it does not request the additional fields and they are entered with default values?

Is this something from Combodo's "request templates" that you are trying to accomplish?
