Not sure you'll get there, but you might want to look at https://github.com/jbostoen/itop-jb-action-rest . It's very much more of a concept, but I've heard some people have used it with success. You'll need an endpoint which then transforms/inserts the data into your own database.
Otherwise, you could also set up a script of your own which regularly runs on the database.

It's not very clear what you mean... Local db = iTop database, or a different one?
