    Hello,
    iTop is dedicated to ITSM.
For some conveniences, we need a tool to manage Non Compliances (Non conformity) to ISO 27001, a ISMS tool.
    Is it conceivable ?
We need to follow Non Compliances per services (e.g. : in our case, services are projects), and retrieve NC attached to each services. NC do not have to be manage by a particular team, but by each services teams.
    Best Regards

    Hello Edouard,

Yes, it is totally conceivable as iTop's datamodel can be completly modified via XML extensions, so you should be able to adjust it to your needs.
    - Add / remove / modify types of objects
    - Add / remove / modify fields on objects
    - Adjust lifecycle on any type of objects
    - Adjust workflow and/or automations

But in order to do this, you will need a good knowledge on iTop customizations and some time depending on your exact needs.

Note that everything can be done for free and your own via an XML extension, but that we provide a visual tool (Designer) through our subscriptions to do all of this more efficiently.

    Hope it helps :)
    Guillaume

    Hello Guillaume,
We well appreciate to discuss about your visual tool (designer).
That needs to change our license to essential or professionnal.
    Best Regards

Unless you have made modification of the iTop code in PHP (which is really not recommended) or if you have written already complex iTop extensions, moving from an iTop Community to an Essential or a Professional, is rather easy, as those products are made of an iTop Community combined with a bunch of 20+ extensions (some public, some customers restricted).
