#2 Patch for Bug 1400441

Please note I am the same person who submitted the bug
I just couldn't find my user and password for sf

This patch more than likely needs a if then else
statment to test wether its 3.0.1 or lower This patch
will link with Ultimate 3.0.1 only. I have tested it
and it gets rid of the error that was posted in the bug.

I ended up running a packet sniffer to find out what
the ircd was actually sending and I belive most of the
problem was with the NICK command that was sent after
linking.
