I disagree with this proposal, because I couldn't verify this said 90% decrease ! In the install manual found 46 png's, 9 are from 10- 30k, the remainder is less than 5k each. Compression to 2 colors yielded a reduction to av. 25%. Compression to 16 colors results in a 50% reduction, and this give still optimal pictures. So, I don't recommend compression to 2 color, but - if ever necessary - to 16 colors.
