Your dialup profiles are what are recorded/maintained on the Dialup page of the Web gui, under ppp settings. They're stored in '/var/ipcop/ppp/settings-'X where X is a number. Your current profile is copied into 'settings'. I've seen that error before - in my case I think is was a stray character or a typo. The web page is probably the best place to see any errors. You'll find that you're "Unable to alter profiles while RED is active.
