I realize some people will object to this, but I've configured my IPCop box to also act as a transparent POP3 Proxy. I wrote a web page describing the procedure and the binaries I compiled are available on the web site as well. The page is here: http://www.oberonnetworks.com/POP3IPCOP/pop3ipcop.html Please bear in mind that I just set this up yesterday and haven't had a great deal of time to test it thoroughly and polish it up. If anyone thinks it would be worthwhile, I will try to write a MOD for it to go with the (Unofficial) IPCop Firewall Add On Server: http://firewalladdons.sourceforge.net/ If anyone has any suggestions on changes or improvements, please let me know. Incidentally, my web page on VNC over SSH (including instructions with IPCop) is back online: http://www.oberonnetworks.com/VNCSSHD/VNCSSHD.html -sr |
