Don't configure the Ipcop box to look at the source port, you want to look at the destination port. The source port will always be a high port. Subject: [IPCop-user] Termical Service from www Hello all I have ipcop set up on adsl using an adsl router. The router is set up to forward tcp ip traffic on port 3389 (terminal services) to the red nic of my ipcop firewall. I then configured ipcop to forward anything from source port 3389 to a server on my LAN and I also set ipcop to allow external access for any ip address on port 3389. I have a static ip to the www with adsl so theory is that some one on internet can ts into my external up address, my 3com router forward the packedt to ipcop and ipcop forwards them onto my server running ts. I gave my ts server the correct gateway back out through ip cop but I just could not get a ts client to connect. Anyone got any ideas.
