The next step in using variable is module rc.firewall: =2Deval readhash /var/ipcop/optionsfw/settings (nothing new here) =2Dif 'SKIP-PING eq YES' iptables -A INPUT icpmt-type-8 (original line not touched) =2Dfi Not really a big issue, we know ipcop is ok whitout ping enabled , see numb= er=20 of message speaking of this.
