Hi, As far as I know, this has always been possible. On boot, we directly load the usb storage module. The first thing the installer then does is detect and load the usb controller. All this is done from the initrd, which is either pulled from floppy or from the cdrom by the bios (before the kernel boots). So, what goes wrong when you try to install from an usb cd-rom? What do we need to do? Kind regards, Mark On Tue, 2004-01-06 at 21:44, Roy Walker wrote: > Do you know if you put in USB cdrom support in this version so that > install from a USB attached cdrom is possible? > > Thanx, > Roy > > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark Wormgoor [mailto:ma...@wo...] > Sent: Tuesday, January 06, 2004 12:06 PM > To: ipc...@li... > Subject: [IPCop-devel] ANNOUNCE: IPCop 1.4.0a6 > > Hi, > > For those who haven't noticed, 1.4.0 alpha6 is now up on SF.net for > download (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ipcop/).
