This release fixes minor bugs found in the 1.5.2 release. I consider 1.6.0 stable and ready for mass consumption.

This release adds significant new features to make it possible to debug which transaction holds the locks for which another transaction is waiting.

This release is a maintenance release containing minor bug fixes. There are no real functionality changes. The main point of this release is to get out a version that has reasonably complete documentation, which this release does have.

Today's release of innotop 1.4.2 adds major new functionality and significant bug fixes.

Today marks the culmination of months of work on the new stable version on innotop, 1.4.0. The list of features that are new in 1.4.0 since 1.0 is large and compelling. Many of the new features are radical changes in the way innotop works, such as monitoring many servers at once instead of just one.

.deb packages for the latest stable and unstable release of innotop are now available in the download section.

Version 1.3.5 is nearly feature-complete for the upcoming stable 1.4 release. I recommend that everyone upgrade to it. There are a lot of new features, including some that were scheduled for 1.6 but got moved sooner because of user requests.

We are happy to announce the release of 1.0.1 and 1.3.0 versions of the innotop MySQL and InnoDB monitor.

Version 1.0.1 contains minor, non-functional bug fixes and tweaks. The 1.0 debian package already included the important one (a mangled man page).

Version 1.3.0 contains a snapshot of the development branch which will become 1.4, and eventually 2.0. Some of the new features are a bit rough, and documentation and other niceties are lagging. Significant changes include non-interactive operation for use in scripting and other command-line jobs, monitoring many servers at once, and a new mode to help you monitor master/slave server status.

Innotop version 1.0 has been released. This stable release contains only minor enhancements over version 0.1.160, to prevent terminal garbling and fix a minor compatibility issue with recent official MySQL binary builds.

At the moment this is the recommended build for most users who only monitor one MySQL instance. If you monitor multiple instances, you may be interested in the unstable version, which has many more features.
