Hi. I have tried downloading the ZIP archive containing PDF versions of the latest documentation for Privoxy, but in addition to the download taking an inordinately long time, the ZIP archive was incomplete and generated an error when I tried to extract/open it. I use Privoxy on a Mac at home, but I experienced these problems when attempting to download the ZIP archive on a PC running Windows XP at my workplace.
Could you let me know if there is a problem at your end, with either the server or the ZIP archive itself? Also, is there an alternate location from which I can download the current documentation both in an intact ZIP archive and without it taking over 20 minutes? :o)
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

The problem seems to be Sourceforge's web server. They are either overloaded or are throttling large downloads or both. Its a little hard for me to complain too much about the free service they offer, since usually its pretty decent qualitly. Until they get that fixed, you can pull the raw pdf's out of cvs. Look around like:
http://ijbswa.cvs.sourceforge.net/ijbswa/current/doc/pdf/. You have to dig down past that bit to get to where you can download. There are three of them, but you if you are not a developer you can live without that one.

Success; located and downloaded the PDFs of the User Manual and the FAQ with no problems. Skipped the Developer Manual as I am indeed not a developer, but just a happy Privoxy user. Thanks for your help, hal9!
