Installed Privoxy under Win 98SE running Bell South
DSL. Not sure of IE verison. Privoxy blocks entire
page, not just ads. Have to disable Privoxy to view
content on any site??
Can you provide a few vital details to aid debugging?
1. Internet Explorer Version - Open Internet explorer. In
the top menu, click on Help | About. Provide your full
version string, such as 6.0.2900.220880.
2. Windows Version - Click on Start | Run, then type
"winver" and press enter. Provide your full version string,
such as Version 6.0 (Build 2195: Service Pack 6)
3. Privoxy Version - Open Privoxy and click Help | About
Privoxy. Provide your full version string, such as version
3.3 for Windows.
4. What pages are you experiencing problems with--please
provide the URLs?
5. Did you verify Privoxy is working--what happens when you
try to access the URL http://p.p/ ?
6. What are your Internet Explorer proxy settings for HTTP,
Secure, FTP, Gopher, Socks, etc?
Cheers,
Zanni
