Action File 2.0 Released

This is another update to the main actions configuration file. There are many changes from 1.9, especially in the block rules. This version REQUIRES Privoxy 3.0.5. Please report any problems.

Privoxy version 3.0.3 (stable) released

Privoxy is a web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities
for protecting privacy, modifying web page content,
managing cookies, controlling access, and removing
ads, banners, pop-ups and other obnoxious Internet
junk.

Version 3.0.3 fixes more bugs, further refines the
configuration and works around some known third-party
problems. Upgrading from 3.0.2 is recommended.

Privoxy default.action 1.7 released

Privoxy is a web proxy with advanced filtering capabilities for protecting privacy, filtering web page content, managing cookies, controlling access, and removing ads, banners, pop-ups and other obnoxious junk. It is based on the Internet Junkbuster. Actions files are where all the per site and per URL configuration is done for ad blocking, cookie management, privacy considerations, etc. This actions file fixes a number of configuration issues with the 3.0.2 release. Everyone is encouraged to upgrade.

Privoxy 2.9.18 released

After a long period of development, and numerous
alpha and beta releases, we hope that 2.9.18 beta will
prove solid enough to be renamed to 3.0.

The release contains some bugfixes over 2.9.16,
most regarding the web-based user interface and
web content filters.

Project has a new name!

Hi world,

news regarding the new project name and its status:

- the name will be Privoxy (as in privacy-enhancing proxy, formerly known as Junkbuster)

- we have registered the .com and .org domains (takes a day or
two to work) and share the costs among whoever wants to jump in
