Category: configuration Group: None Status: Pending Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: forward proxy config for server Initial Comment: I have a xp box (192.168.0.1) running privoxy with cable internet, and a linux box (192.168.0.2) running apache. These are linked by a crossover cable. Is it possible to configre privoxy to divert all incomming port 80 connections to 192.168.0.2, while still allowing a *:8118 listen address (with ACL) for connection sharing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2006-08-12 04:57 Message: Logged In: NO Hi David, yes thats exactly what I was wanting to do. I understand the intent behind privoxy, and believe it works very well. I noticed how much it was able to be configured and wondered if it may be possible. Thanks for your reply David. If so, that's certainly not Privoxy's intent... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=1535241&group_id=11118 |
