I'm trying to get Limewire Pro to work with Tor- Privoxy (vs 3.0.3) with very little success. I'm using Win XP, an Agere Modem, and Limewire works fine when I go direct through my ISP without Tor-Privoxy. However, as soon as I kick in Privoxy it no longer works. I think the problem is at the Privoxy level. Limewire specifies proxy as localhost with Port 8118. From other posts, I'm guessing the solution is to modify the ports available in the default action file of Privoxy, viz: +limit-connect{-3, 7, 20-100, 443, 500-} \ Then I restart Privoxy and Limewire and the log shows: Feb 18 01:38:00 Privoxy(03480) Connect: OK Feb 18 01:38:00 Privoxy(03480) Connect: accept connection ...
