(See the bug list at http:// bugs.noreply.org/flyspray/index.php?do=details&id=126) If you type in a command line window "export EVENT_NOKQUEUE=yes" and then start Tor, it seems to work, although I have no idea what adverse effects that might do. If you don't mind loosing some of your anonymity, you can comment out the line: "forward-socks4a / localhost:9050 ." towards the end of the Privoxy config file by adding a "#" at the beginning of the line. Then Privoxy will work on it's own without Tor. At least then you wouldn't have to view all the crappy advertising. Hope that helps. |
