Support Requests item #1068202, was opened at 2004-11-17 19:15 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=1068202&group_id=11118 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: Dan (dan2112) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: problem with ezboard and privoxy Initial Comment: Privoxy (3.0.3) seems to be causing some kind of problem with ezboard message boards - when trying to submit a post, I get redirected to: http://www.ezboard.com/invalidDomain.html which tells me: "Sorry, there is no ezboard page matching your request The page you are looking for either no longer exists, has moved or is temporarily unavailable. Please update your bookmarks." If I disable privoxy, the problem goes away and I can submit my post - but ezboard now uses so many ads that the resulting page won't even load fully on my browser. I'm just glad Firefox blocks all the pop-ups..... In addition to the standard privoxy filters and actions, I've been using the following for ezboard: { +filter{iframes} } .ezboard. { +block } .bravenet./.*ezboard.* .ezboard./.*popup.* However, commenting out all three does not stop the problem from occuring. Even adding: {-filter -block} .ezboard. ...did not work. Any suggestions, anyone? (apart from "avoid ezboard"!) (The iframes filter is one I added: s|<iframe [^>].*</iframe>|<!-- Squished iframe -->|sigU ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=1068202&group_id=11118 |
