D'oh, I downloaded the new alpha version and find that it does HTTP/1.1 and
works fine with my authenticated proxy.  Sorry about the list pollution! :^)

I actually hadn't realised that JunkBuster was still undergoing active
development until I happened to find the sourceforge site - isn't the open
source community great?
