There is no other programm listening on port 8118 and my Windows-Firewall ist not enabled. If I start Privoxy as standalone Application it's working fine. I only get this error log: Privoxy(00000c10) Error: Invalid header received from 127.0.0.1. BUT if I try to start Privoxy as windows-service then 'Privoxy.exe' is crashing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mattes Dolak (xoft) Date: 2009-05-26 14:33 Message: Hi, This might mean that either another process is already using that port, or that Vista firewall blocks Privoxy from opening the port. You can find out which program uses the port by listing all active connections with "netstat -n -a -o" and then comparing PID (Process ID) with PIDs in task manager. Alternatively, You can use "netstat -n -a -b", this will tell you the process name immediately, but it might require higher privileges to the system and the output is large and not sorted, so it's more difficult to find. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=111118&aid=2796804&group_id=11118 |
