Category: other Group: 3.0.8 >Status: Closed Priority: 5 Private: Yes Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: Fabian Keil (fabiankeil) Summary: Forwarding failure (Tor problem) Initial Comment: I"m using privoxy v3.0.8 and tor v0.1.2.19 with Fedora 9. Everytime I use the tor button and try to visit a webpage i get a 503 error from privoxy."Forwarding failure Privoxy was unable to socks4a-forward your request http://sourceforge.net/docman/?group_id=11118 through 127.0.0.1: SOCKS request rejected or failed." I have tried opening the needed ports with my firewall and disabling se Linux. I also added 'forward-socks4a / 127.0.0.1:9050 . ' to my config file. I've tried everything in the tor/privoxy faq and nothing works. Maybe this will help. The following options were given in the config file: forward-socks4a / 127.0.0.1:9050 . indicates that the actionsfile is named 'default.action'. Warning: ignored unrecognized directive above. trust-info-url http://www.example.com/why_we_block.html trust-info-url http://www.example.com/what_we_allow.html confdir /etc/privoxy logdir /var/log/privoxy actionsfile standard.action actionsfile default.action actionsfile user.action filterfile default.filter listen-address 127.0.0.1:8118 toggle 1 enable-remote-toggle 0 enable-remote-http-toggle 0 enable-edit-actions 0 enforce-blocks 0 buffer-limit 4096 forwarded-connect-retries 0 accept-intercepted-requests 0 allow-cgi-request-crunching 0 split-large-forms 0 Thank, Will. e-mail: wee...@ya... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: SourceForge Robot (sf-robot) Date: 2009-01-29 02:21 Message: This Tracker item was closed automatically by the system. To fix the problem please have a look at the FAQ: http://www.privoxy.org/faq/misc.html#TOR If you really already "tried everything in the tor/privoxy faq and nothing works", please be more specific about what you did exactly, and how your attempts failed. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=2415608&group_id=11118 |
