Category: macosx-specific Group: version 3.0 >Status: Pending Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: david bonde (david-bo) Assigned to: David Schmidt (david__schmidt) Summary: Intel build for Mac OS X Initial Comment: The summary says it all. I tried to compile from source but the target directories where completely un-Mac like when doing this. Thanks for a great product! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: David Schmidt (david__schmidt) Date: 2006-11-30 08:59 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=249980 Originator: NO Ok. In order to do that, you're going to need to pull down the osxbuild from CVS and build a PackageMaker package to do the install portion. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: david bonde (david-bo) Date: 2006-11-30 08:45 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=264045 Originator: YES I have compiled it, that was no problems, but I want to avoid having to manually copy each file to the right directory (which are quite different from how the Mac-installation looks). I try to use CVS but maybe in the future the config script should identify that it is a Mac and then change the install script accordingly? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David Schmidt (david__schmidt) Date: 2006-11-30 06:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=249980 Originator: NO In order to get all the packaging stuff, you'd have to use CVS to download the osxbuild tree. But you ought to be able to go right into the source you downloaded and type 'make' (without the quotes) and get an executable. Remember, this is going to be very Unix-y, and not Mac-y. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: david bonde (david-bo) Date: 2006-11-30 05:41 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=264045 Originator: YES I downloaded the source. There is no osbuild directory included there. Where can I download osxbuild? Do I have to use CVS? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David Schmidt (david__schmidt) Date: 2006-11-29 17:08 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=249980 Originator: NO There's nothing particularly Mac-like about Privoxy, except maybe the final install image. Did you extracted the 'osxbuild' tree as well as 'current' and build from osxbuild? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=111118&aid=1605641&group_id=11118 |
