Category: macosx-specific Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Assigned to: David Schmidt (david__schmidt) Summary: post-install script doesn't execute Initial Comment: I've managed to build a pivoxy pkg from source with PackageMaker 2.1, included with OSX 10.4.6. But for this to work the following adjustments had to be made: in osxsetup/pkgres: copy Privoxy.post_install to postinstall copy Privoxy.post_upgrade to postupgrade copy Privoxy.pre_upgrade to preupgrade I think this changed in newer versions of PackageMaker. This version of PackageMaker can't use the pmsp package file, so a new Single Package has to be created. Here's what I did - Set Root to osxsetup/files - Set Default Location to /Library/Privoxy - Set Extras to osxsetup/pkgres And on the Contents tab, I clicked File Permissions -> Apply recommendations. Then I build the package. Privoxy won't start though, because it specifically asks for 3.0.3 on line 368 in /Library/Privoxy/default.action. I have a Macbook Pro, and I'm willing to help to test things (and maybe create an Universal Binary).
