The problem seems to be kernel 2.6.x related. I've also tried the 2.6 mass storage patch in conjunction with various UMS firmwares for my 590T, without succes. Turning on verbose mass storage debugging shows a lot of errors and warnings. The only solution for me is using a 2.4 kernel with my player flashed as manager version. Occassionaly I get a Input/Output error, but re-connecting the USB cable resolves that problem. There are some changes in the 2.6 USB code, but nobody seems to know what causes the problem. Wilco |
