    Angel

Did some further testing and there are also other problems, i only looked at the ifcGuid and now also looked at the geometry and there are major problems with this.

I create a zip file with in it the revit files 2018 and 2019 and the IFC output created from these.
The openings are not created as it should be (the windows are inside the walls in 2019).

In the zip there is also a word document with some screen shots created from the ifc files shown in Solibri.

    regards

    Eddy

Same issues here. Hopefully Beta version can soon be repaired.

    Hi Eddy,

The opening-issue for IFC2x3 is fixed with commit https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc/commit/958482e2651a941b5a645913dd18afa147354939

I tested it on several model samples, and for instance also in the D-A-CH Golden Nugget sample model the openings of the windows are back again.

    Regards,
    Dirk

      Hi Dirk,

Good news :) Did you also had a look at the changing Guids?

      Regards

      Eddy

Note that I renamed the betas, so that the latest is now Beta4: https://github.com/Autodesk/revit-ifc/releases/tag/Beta4-v19.2.0. We are still sorting out naming conventions for Git as far as beta releases go.

I tested the Beta version. The GUID issue worked well for small models. Above 100.000 objects it crashes without message.
Despite of that an extra issue with exporting floors. As an attachment a model with floors, I get an error while exporting this model. I am aware that you should not model floors in this way.

The latest commit in Github/IFC4RV-Certification branch fixes the issue with the reported regression. There is no beta build yet currently as we are still working on other known regression issues. With the commit though you may build it yourself to test the fix.
