Scanning to PDF and looking to have PDF open after scan. My icopy.settings all have PDFOpenAfterAcquisition set to True. I'm using a cmd line of: iCopy /pdf /r 200 to kick off the scan. What am I missing?
thank you for reporting your problem with iCopy.
Do you experience any problem if the program runs in the graphical interface mode?
Please attach the icopy.log file which you find in the same folder as icopy.settings after you issue the command iCopy /pdf /r 200.

Hello,
Using the GUI and setting PDF to open after acquisition works fine. If I leave that checked, run from CMD line, works fine too. If unchecked in the GUI it doesn't work. If I can get this working I plan on using it on multiple machines so I won't have the option of setting the option in the GUI. Attached is the log file. The first 2 entries are with the setting in the GUI turned on. The 3rd is with it off.
I added the command parameter /open to the command line options, that will open the file after acquisition. If the command is not provided, the file won't be opened even if the option is checked in the interface (for consistency).
Please try the attached version (extract it on top of your iCopy installation) and let me know if it works as expected.

Dear cnyballer,
thank you for the details. I will have a look at the problem later this week. I'm pretty sure it is a simple bug, so it shouldn't take long.
I'll get in touch as soon as I have a fixed version!
Hi cnyballer,

/open
to the command line options, that will open the file after acquisition. Thank you,

Sorry for the delayed response but this appears to be working as designed. Thanks!
I'm very glad to hear that. Thank you very much for helping me with the development of iCopy. I'm closing this bug report.
