Did iCopy show a window with a list of connected scanners at startup?
Please check that the scanner is installed correctly, that is, it is listed in control panel.

Please also delete the contents of the folder

    C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\iCopy

      Hello,
Thanks for your quick reply. It appears correctly installed, it said so when i reinstalled it. It is in the control panel. I have gone into the file and tried a number of the files, settings etc but the only one that opens is the icopy which goes straight to the error message scanner not connected, please reconnect and try again!!
I have been using the app for many years without a problem. The only thing that has changed is that I am using windows 8 (unfortunately)
      Richard

      Hello,
I have reinstalled in a number of times. It says it is installed correctly but the only thing that happens when I start the programme is the error message that a scanner is not connected. I have searched for

      C:\Users\<your username="">\AppData\Local\iCopy</your>

      and it is not there

      Richard
