Have new laptop (Windows 8). Installed Icopy having done so over many years. Installed successfully. Tried to scan document came up with error message scanner not connected please retry. cannot work out how to connect scanner
Did iCopy show a window with a list of connected scanners at startup?
Please check that the scanner is installed correctly, that is, it is listed in control panel.
Please also delete the contents of the folder
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\iCopy

Hello,
Thanks for your quick reply. It appears correctly installed, it said so when i reinstalled it. It is in the control panel. I have gone into the file and tried a number of the files, settings etc but the only one that opens is the icopy which goes straight to the error message scanner not connected, please reconnect and try again!!
I have been using the app for many years without a problem. The only thing that has changed is that I am using windows 8 (unfortunately)
Richard
