Well, not really. I do have the fonts installed -- otherwise they wouldn't display when I restart icewm, would they? Just to recap, I have some fonts set in my .icewm/preferences file. They are not enabled when I login to a X session; however, when I restart the current session they display. This is a PIA since each time I log in I have to restart. Something wrong! This is with 1.2.0pre2. Configure: ./configure --enable-antiliasing --enable-gradients --with-imlib . Tried adding freetype and i18n, but that makes no difference to the problem. Using xfs on Mandrake 8.2. xset shows that font server is unix/:-1. Oh, should add that using icewm 1.0.9 (which was shipped with Mandrake 8.2) my fonts, etc. work fine.
