I use X WinCommander. It's similar to Windows Explorer, if you like that type of file manager. It seems to have been abandoned after June 2000, though. There is no current work being done on it, but still, it works pretty good. You can get it at: http://linuxberg.ii.net/x11html/preview/10173.html It's also on the Linux-Mandrake 8.0 distribution, so it should be available wherever you find L-M 8.0.
